Finding seeds and plants...

Yesterday we made a trip to the Farm at Green Village to see what they had.  I've been wanting to go since I've heard of them.  It's a 32-acre beauty, with all different types of flowers, trees, shrubs, gardening accessories, a lake with swans and ducks, white peacocks, roosters, rabbits...crazy, right?

We went looking for some vegetables to transplant, some seeds, compost, vemiculite, and a composter.  While their selection was huge and I really wanted to purchase something, we couldn't find many vegetable plants (they only had a few herbs), and no seeds since it was so far into the season.  They did have lemon, lime, tangelo, kumquat, and fig trees though.  J and I really wanted to get a fig tree but decided against it for now since we don't know where to put it.  Next time!  Our daughter loved looking around and seeing all the animals but when the roosters started crowing she actually got scared!  Here are a few pictures...
